Project Assistant

​SUMMARY
Assist in delivering projects and fulfilling contracts per schedule and budget.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Preconstruction
  • Extract and compile relevant plans, drawings, renderings, specifications, samples, schedules, and unit matrices in order to generate an accurate quotation.
  • Communicate with manufacturing partners to ensure pricing estimates reflect project requirements.
  • Research and calculate ways to reduce costs and improve quality. Evaluate and mitigate potential risk factors.
  • Keep up with RFIs, revised drawing sets, change orders, and any new information that would affect pricing, keeping both client and manufacturing partners up to date.
  • Follow up with client until contract award and maintain awareness of deadlines.
  • Serve as a key resource for project information internally and externally.
 
Project Management
  • Liaise with client to arrange international and local shipping and delivery logistics per schedule and budget.
  • Coordinate packing, labeling, and loading with manufacturing partners.
  • Coordinate pick up, customs and insurance documentation, duties and import taxes, trucking and handling.
  • Coordinate on site equipment and manpower, storage requirements, and demurrage fees.
  • Coordinate unloading, unpacking, distribution, installation, and packing disposal with client.
  • Oversee delivery and installation.
  • Document and resolve issues on site and warranty claims.
  • Estimate costs for modifications, repairs and replacements, shipping and delivery.
  • Foster relationships with clients, vendors, and manufacturing, shipping, and installation partners.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
 
Education: Associate’s degree
Experience: 1-2 years related preferred

Valid driver’s license required.
