​SUMMARY
Generate shop drawings for presentation packages with accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Review preliminary drawings by architect/designer and convert to cabinetry preproduction drawings.
• Incorporate appliance package, countertop selection, FHA compliance, MEP coordination, and field conditions.
• Help identify potential cost impacts and ensure shop drawings and finishes match pricing qualifications.
• Aid to reach approvals and transition project into production.
• Review RFIs, revised drawing sets, change orders, and any new information that would affect production, keeping drawings up to date.
• Assist as a resource for project information.
• Keep track and be mindful of presentation and production deadlines.

 
QUALIFICATIONS
 
Education: Associate’s degree in related field
Experience: 5+ years related
 
Skills

• excellent oral and written communication
• time management, planning, organization, and ability to multitask under pressure
• logical analysis, judgment, and decision making
• understanding of cabinetry design and manufacturing, interior architecture, and multiunit construction
• proficiency in 2D (and 3D) design using AutoCAD (bonus: 20/20, Metron, SketchUp, Revit, etc.)
• computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Adobe Acrobat, etc.
• attention to detail
